Make It Monday

How do you like the new blog makeover... I'm still tweaking it a bit but I really like it so far... it's Blog In A Box Bloom & Grow by Zoe Pearn at Sweet Shoppe Designs and I'm sooooooo in love with it!

Well, this weekend has been a hard weekend. Both the kids are sick so this morning I took them in to the dr's office to have their ears checked and to have Moriah's breathing checked because of her asthma. Moriah's breathing was great thanks to the Advair, but both kid's have an ear infection. My poor kiddos are so miserable although Moriah says her ear doesn't hurt and hers is the worst of the two. So while Isaac was taking a nap and Moriah was "resting" in front of a Signing Time video, I decided to get started on the new February Portfolio at Sweet Shoppe Designs. Since the new TOTM templates by Darcy Baldwin are on sale, I decided to snatch them up because I love them and can see myself really using them a lot, plus it just makes a layout go so much quicker. I get a new release point for using it, so instead of 1pt for the page I get 2 pts. I also used a beautiful kit by Eva Kipler that was in my unused kits and found a sweet picture of Moriah that went well with it. Yay, I'm only 8pts away from a sweet discount on Sweet Shoppe goodies and 28pts away from the sweetest discount.

Here's my page using Inspired By Leslie by Darcy Baldwin and Earthy Mama by Eva Kipler... the journaling is my custom print font by Darcy Baldwin.

I love your new background!!! That is awesome! I'm having a hard time finding a background that is 'me'. There is so much to choose from...it's overwhelming. Your blog looks great!

Thanks Chantal... I'm having problems with tinypic so I switched everything over to photobucket and hopefully won't have that problem anymore.
