and I finally am sharing my little project from Wednesday. Pastor Rob has started a new series today and here is my little project for Rob's message today. I'm so thankful for God helping me execute this during Isaac's naptime, granted I had a lot of help from Jill and Brian. I'm so thrilled to be sharing my gifts with WBC in a different way than lead worshiping. I didn't tell Brian this but this project has been somewhat healing to me. My heart was broken in September when a friend suddenly went to be with the Lord. He was someone I'd sung with for many years and had a mutual interest in a hobby of photography. I missed singing with him over the holidays but I also missed talking about photography and photo editing. He was like my cheerleader like he was for so many people. After his death, I had kind of put the hobby aside and didn't really care for it as much... I cannot tell you how good it feels to be doing this for God as a service now and enjoying photography and photo editing again.

The parable of the wise and foolish builders teaches us that God is our rock. He is a trustworthy and a sure foundation. In this photograph, the water washes away the sand and exposes solid rock. The remaining grains of sand on the rock remind me that I am often tempted to choose the temporal and meaningless things of life rather than the eternal and life-giving things of God.and one last thing...
GO COLTS!
