Make It Monday

Well, I'm having some major visions of home decor and trying to figure out how I can do it and not spend too much money. I feel like I'm finally coming back out of my shell... my inner modern day hippie is coming back and I'm super excited. So, today I've been checking out the sales and did a bit of shopping at IKEA and I can't wait to get everything I need to make my visions a reality. Some of it is sewing stuff, some of it is hybrid scrapping stuff and I really just can't wait to turn this house into my house instead of the previous owner's. Mark is getting close to starting to paint the house and I'm super excited. I really feel like we're finally getting somewhere. I can't wait to show you what I'm working on. Soo soooo soooo super excited and it feels so good to be back to myself again. Now I just how I get it all done before baby comes. :)

Make It Monday

Well, we just got back from Nashville yesterday and decided in honor of World Cardmaking Day which was on Saturday, to make a Thank You card for my dear friend who treated us to an amazing museum which turned out to be Moriah's favorite activity of the week. I hadn't seen this friend since she moved to Nashville 10 years ago and it was so good to catch up with her. This museum had a wonderful kid's part of the museum with all sorts of crafts and art projects for the kids to do. They had a blast!

Here's the card I made last night.
card template by Julie Billingsley - available at Sweet Shoppe Designs
Simply Summer add-on by Krystal Hartley - available at Sweet Shoppe Designs (quarterly assortment)
Color Box Chalk Ink
"many thanks" stamp from Archivers

glue dots
